This house (bait)
is adjacent to Ibn
Tulun mosque. It is actually formed of two houses, one
built in 1540 and the other in 1631.
The house was inhabited by several generations and finally
by a British citizen called Major Gayer-Anderson between 1935
and 1942.
Now it is a museum. It will give you an idea about the artistic
skills of this period in terms of ordinary houses.
