Dahshur is yet another necropolis
site for the ancient city of Memphis.
It is some few kilometers south of Saqqara.
Having been a military zone, the site was closed to public but
was recently opened in 1996.
The pyramids of Dahshur are interesting and unique in their
shape and design. Some regular monuments are scattered in the
area as well as the main pyramids.
