Anfushi Tombs Anfushi Tombs

The tombs are in front of Ras El-Tin Palace. They are 5 tombs, of which 2 are in bad condition. 2 of the tombs were discovered in 1901 and the other 3 were discovered in 1921. The tombs date back to the first half of the 3rd century BC.

The walls of the tombs are adorned to imitate alabaster and marble.
Though have an Egyptian decoration and a representation of Egyptian religion, the tomb is influenced by Greek art.

All the tombs are subterranean.
