These are 4 subterranean rock-cut tombs of a relative good condition and beautiful depictions. They date back to the Ptolemaic era, particularly the 2nd and 3rd century BC.

The tombs were discovered in 1933 when the government decided to level the ground to build a soccer court leading to this magnificent find.

Near the tombs were military barracks named after the famous Egyptian nationalist figure Mustafa Kamel who died in 1908, hence came the name of the tombs.
