This is a wonderful seaside resort. Sidi Abdel Rahman has a
stunning white sandy beach and the seawater is so clear and
clean. It is about 20 km (12 miles) west of El-Alamein.
The resort lies on a natural bay that forms a breakwater making
the beach so much safe for families.
The beach is named after a local sheikh who was killed by his
fellow traders, and was hailed as a saint by people thenceforth.
The area is inhabited mostly by Bedouins. There is a Bedouin
village few hundred meters away from the resort.
