Pharaoh's Island

Taba is the last piece of land returned to Egypt from Israel following its occupation of the Sinai Peninsula.

Taba returned in 1989 by an international rule 7 years after the return of the rest of Sinai. The city is at the southernmost border crossing between Egypt and Israel. From Taba you can see Israeli, Jordanian and Saudi territories.

Taba, which is only few hundred meters in area, has a big hotel built by Israelis and sold to the Egyptian government called Hilton Taba.

Monuments
Taba is a very beautiful resort where you can enjoy most of watersports. Also located near Taba is Pharaoh's Island that has a citadel built by Saladdin. It is also a place worth visiting.
