The 12th
dynasty tomb belongs to Sarenput I, the governor of Elephantine.
The entrance opens to a court with six columns that once supported
the ceiling. The columns bear biographical texts of Sarenput.
On the left-hand side of the doorway behind the columns, Sarenput
is shown followed by his dogs and his sandal-bearer. On the
right-hand, he is depicted with his mother, wife and daughters.
A doorway leads to a smaller 4-pillared hall where reliefs
are unfortunately ruined and finally to the last two pillared
room.
