Tomb of Khaemhat Tomb of Khaemhat
Photo by Raymon Kondos © 2009 Your Egypt

Khaemhat is a royal scribe and superintendent of the granaries in the reign of Amenhotep III.

The tomb is unique for its carvings. It has beautiful scenes of the harvest, scenes of Khaemhat reporting his work to the kings and offering scenes.

One touching scene shows a chariot driver sleeping while the groom is taking a rest by a tree. Khaemhat is seen receiving a golden collar from King Amenhotep III.
