A steep entrance leads you to a descending corridor then a staircase
takes you to another descending corridor. A shaft lies at the
end of the second corridor. Beyond the shaft is two pillared
hall with a side room with two more columns and niches
on the wall.
A staircase from the main hall descends to a smaller room through
a corridor. Finally another corridor end with the burial chamber.
The latter has two sets of 4 square pillars and the sarcophagus
in the middle.
The burial chamber has four niches at its corners and a smaller
chamber. The smaller chamber has three more side chambers opened
to it.
The corridors and halls of the tomb are decorated with scenes
from the Book of the Dead.
The burial chamber, in particular, has scenes from the Book
of the Dead and Book of the Caverns. The ceiling bears astronomical
paintings.
The mummy of the king was found elsewhere in the tomb of Amenhotep
II (the royal cache).
