Egypt has all categories of hotels, from
the most luxurious in the world to the worst.
They are classified in stars, from one to five stars. The more star
the hotel possesses the better quality it is.
Five-star hotels are more available and are usually located by the
monuments and the Nile. The service in these hotels is excellent.
Famous series of hotels are in Egypt such as: Hilton, Conrad, Four
Seasons, Intercontinental, Helnan, Ritz Carton and others (Please

One-star hotels are sometimes adequate, but it's better to bring insecticides
or fly swatters that are popular in Egypt: you'll need them especially
in summertime (obtainable from superstores and pharmacies). You are
also recommended to bring clean bed sheets if you opted to use cheap
accommodation, and remember to bring your own tissues, as some lavatories
lack them.

Youth Hostels:
They offer the cheapest options for tourists in Egypt. Youth hostels
are located in key cities all over the country. But being the cheapest
affects also its condition, yet they are not bad. Price ranges from
10 L.E. to 40 L.E per night. In Cairo, for instance, reservation costs
27 L.E. per night and rooms are triples.
Membership is not always a must; however, you can acquire a membership
for about 25 L.E. Youth hostels close at 12 PM.
